About Penzeys Salsa and Pico
This savory, slightly smoky blend lends the a moderate kick to salsa and guacamole.
Shallots, cumin, garlic, black pepper, Mexican oregano, paprika, cilantro, jalapeno pepper, chipotle pepper

Servings 1/2 C.
Prep 5 min.
Directions
1 ripe avocado
1 plum tomato
1 1/2 tsp. PENZEYS SALSA & PICO
2 tsp. fresh lime juice (1/4 of a lime plus 1 more squeeze)
1/4 C. diced red onion
1/4 C. chopped cilantro
1/4 tsp. salt
Directions
Halve the avocado and remove the pit. With a spoon, slide the skin off. Place in a bowl.
Add the SALSA & PICO, fresh lime juice, and salt.
Mash with a fork and then stir to blend. Leave it a bit chunky.
Cover the guacamole with plastic wrap patted right onto the surface and refrigerate until ready to serve.
