Ever think about growing garlic? It’s simple, low-maintenance, and returns a product that is often superior than those found in stores. Weathered Eye Farm has grown garlic for many years and learned what makes a large and tasty bulb. Our bulbs are ready for harvest and participants will see first-hand, the result of our labor.

Participants will learn: Garlic varieties and which may be best for growing in this area Growing in the ground vs containers The Growing Cycle including, planting, maintaining, harvesting, and drying Participants will harvest 3 Music Hardneck Bulbs to take home for planting or eating.

Rain or ShineCost: $25 per participant (limited to 15 participants)  Notes: Farm dress. We'll work in the barn and field.

Saturday, June 28th, 9-10:30 AM

Participants will learn :

1. The growing cycle and timeline that includes planting, maintaining, harvesting, and drying

2. The difference between softneck and hardneck varieties

3. Garlic options that may be best for growing in this area

4. Growing in the ground vs containers

Participants will receive 3 Music Hardneck Bulbs to take home for planting or eating.
