Garlic Planting Workshop
Garlic is an overwinter crop that is easy to grow, resilient and stores well. Growing your own garlic is rewarding and typically yields a more flavorful bulb.
Participants in this 2-hour workshop will learn how to plant, grow, and harvest their own garlic. It includes a hands-on, in the field demonstration and answers many gardeners' questions and misconceptions about choosing a variety, preparing the growing space, and what to do after planting.
Each participant will receive:
1) Three (3) bulbs to plant
2) Information on different garlic varieties
3) Hands-on planting demonstration
4) Suggested tools.
Registration is required for this workshop.
Fee per participant is $25.
No bathroom facilities on site.
Dress appropriately for outside conditions.
Rain or shine.
